Try Photo Pin for Creative Commons Photos

large__3656545096Photo Pin is a useful source for students to use to find photos in the Creative Commons posted on Flickr. After entering a Search field, a page with photos on that topic appear. You can choose Commercial or Non-Commercial as a category and can sort by recent, relevance, and interestingness. You can download various image sizes. You are given the correct Attribution HTML code to insert into your blog or webpage, although you are asked to click on the photo to go to the Flickr page and check the license for yourself. Students will love how easy it is to copy and paste the Attribution to cite their photo source as I have done below.
