April 365 Project

books_30apr_01This weekend I gathered up 30 books to give away as part of my 365 Project.  My goal is to give away one item a day for the entire year. I find it more convenient to do one entire month at a time than to look for one item each day. I take a photo and make a poster for fun. I also find it easier to stick to one major area. Last month I gave away clothing and this month books.  Continue reading

Adding Voiceovers to Your Prezi

Prezi_iconI created a PowerPoint presentation ages ago and later uploaded the slides to Prezi and then changed a few things to make it flow better. Now, I am once again adapting the past to meet the future by trying out the new voiceover feature that Prezi announced last weekend. Continue reading

Taste of Tech, TodaysMeet, Socrative, and Promethean Clickers

We had another Taste of Tech at school on Wednesday morning and we are really happy with the results. Three of us did a show-and-tell of student response systems. This is the LiveBinders from our session. We didn’t use the time exactly the way we planned. We ended up dividing the time equally between the three subjects TodaysMeet, Socrative, and Promethean clickers.  Continue reading

Phoster iPad App – A Poster with Jeans and a Book

phoster_iconI wanted to be up-to-date in my Photo 365 Declutter Project at the end of each month of 2013, so today I did a quick poster in Phoster to document my progress, and I’m happy to say 30 items have been given away, and 1 item thrown away. I conquered January! I photographed a pair of shorts, a pair of jeans and a book that are on their way to better homes. Then I cropped the photo and did a very simple poster.   Continue reading
